Men’s Ultrasounds at Taylor Grey
Private mens Ultrasound in Knightsbridge
What we SCAN
Prostate, abdominal and musculoskeletal scans — with optional blood tests in the same visit and results before you leave. No referral needed.
-
A safe, radiation-free look at the major abdominal organs. Especially useful for investigating abdominal pain, suspected gallstones and abnormal liver blood tests including checking for fatty liver, one of the most common findings in working-age men.
-
Fatty liver often causes no symptoms until it's advanced, and is frequently picked up through routine bloods. Ultrasound confirms the diagnosis and grades the changes, and paired with a liver blood panel gives you a clear baseline and a reason to act early.
-
Pain after eating, particularly under the right ribs, is a classic sign. Ultrasound is the gold-standard first test for gallstones, giving a rapid answer and a clear path to treatment if needed.
-
Ultrasound assesses kidney size, structure and common findings such as cysts and stones. Simple kidney cysts are common and usually harmless, a scan tells you which kind you're dealing with and whether any follow-up is needed.
-
Urinary symptoms, poor flow, urgency, incomplete emptying or recurrent infections, are common and very treatable. Bladder ultrasound, including a check of how well your bladder empties, helps pinpoint the cause.
-
Prostate symptoms creep up gradually, and many men put off getting checked. Our prostate assessment combines ultrasound with a PSA blood test in the same visit, giving you a clear picture and a written report and prompt onward referral to a urologist if anything needs a closer look.
-
Persistent lower abdominal or pelvic pain has many possible causes. A scan-led assessment of the uterus, ovaries and surrounding structures helps identify or rule out cysts, fibroids and other common culprits, so you're not left guessing.
-
Muscle, tendon and joint pain from acute sports injuries to a shoulder or knee that's never quite settled. MSK ultrasound assesses tears, tendinopathy, swellings and joint fluid, and helps decide between rest, physio and specialist referral.
