Private blood tests at Taylor Grey
Same-Day Rapid Blood Testing in Knightsbridge
What we treat
Walk in, get tested and have nurse practitioner review your results in as little as 15 minutes, not days. Our Knightsbridge clinic runs a full point-of-care blood lab on-site, so you leave with answers not a wait.
-
A full blood count measures your red cells, white cells and platelets. It is the single most useful test for picking up anaemia, infection, inflammation and some blood disorders. Our on-site point-of-care analyser returns a full result in under 30 minutes, so your nurse practitioner can review the findings and plan treatment before you leave.
-
CRP (C-reactive protein) is a rapid indicator of inflammation or infection in the body. It helps distinguish viral from bacterial illness, supports decisions about antibiotics and flags conditions such as appendicitis or severe chest infections. Results are available in around 15 minutes on our in-clinic analyser.
-
U&E measures kidney function and salt balance (sodium, potassium, urea, creatinine). It is essential in dehydration, vomiting, kidney concerns and before starting certain medications. Same-visit results let your nurse practitioner act immediately, rather than waiting days for a lab.
-
LFTs check the health of your liver by measuring enzymes and proteins released into the blood. They support the investigation of abdominal pain, fatigue, jaundice, alcohol review and medication safety. Results are typically available the same day, interpreted in person by your nurse practitioner.
-
TFTs measure thyroid hormones (TSH, T3, T4) to investigate symptoms such as fatigue, weight change, palpitations, hair thinning or feeling cold. Most results are ready the same day, with interpretation and next-step planning during your visit.
-
HbA1c reflects your average blood sugar over roughly the last three months and is the standard test for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes. Combined with a point-of-care glucose reading, it gives a clear picture in minutes, not days.
-
A lipid panel measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides to assess cardiovascular risk. Same-day results support early conversations about diet, lifestyle and medication, particularly as part of our longevity and prevention pathway.
-
Our Comprehensive S Panel combines FBC, biochemistry, thyroid, liver, kidney and metabolic markers into one wellness screen, priced from £250. It is a strong starting point for anyone wanting a clear, data-led picture of their general health in a single visit.
-
Swabs help identify bacterial, viral or fungal infections of the throat, skin, wound, genital or urinary tract. We offer single swabs from £50 and three-swab panels from £150, alongside UTI dip tests and walk-in antibiotic pathways. See our Urgent Care page for the full infection pathway.
